Digital hall of fame & school history

A digital hall of fame worthy of your school’s history.

HistoryShowcase turns your school’s people, teams, photos and milestones into an interactive touchscreen hall of fame. Your team adds the stories, previews them privately and publishes when they’re ready.

Free to use. No payment details required. Your site stays private until someone on your team publishes it.

Illustrative preview of a touchscreen home screen and an open profile. The school, names and stories are fictional.

Keep the plaques. Add the stories behind them.

A plaque has room for a name and a year. HistoryShowcase gives every inductee, team, graduate and supporter a full profile, with a biography, photos and the details that make a visitor stop and read. Everything is organized into collections anyone can explore with a touch.

School recognition

One home for everything your school is proud of

Recognition at a school is never one list. Build a collection for each part of your story and let visitors move between them.

  • Athletics hall of fame

Inductees, championship teams, record holders and coaches, each with a biography, a year and photos.

  • Distinguished alumni

Graduates who went on to serve, build and lead, introduced by class year and the story of what came next.

  • School history

Founding years, buildings, traditions and archive photos, gathered into collections by decade or theme.

  • Donor recognition

Donors, giving societies and named gifts, honored with the same care as every other story in your hall.

  • Faculty and staff

The teachers, coaches and staff members who shaped generations of students.

  • Arts and academics

Performances, competitions, scholarships and academic honors, right alongside athletics.

What you get

Tools for your team to tell the story

Build, review and publish your school’s touchscreen, starting from shared touchscreen templates.

  • Shared touchscreen templates

Every site is built on the same shared touchscreen templates. Choose layouts for your home screen, collections and profiles, then set your colors, motion and atmosphere in the built-in editor.

  • Collections that match how you remember

Organize stories into collections and sub-collections by sport, class year, decade, award or giving society for visitors to browse.

  • Full profiles with photos

Each story can hold a title, year, subtitle, biography and up to 100 photos or media files. Visitors browse, search and open the whole story on the screen.

  • Only your school’s content

A site holds only your school’s people, photos and stories. New sites start with editable welcome content, not another school’s records.

  • Private drafts, deliberate publishing

Changes save to a private draft. Preview the touchscreen as visitors will see it, then publish when you’re ready. Nothing goes live until someone with publishing access publishes it.

  • Built for your whole team

Add colleagues by email as owners, publishers, editors or viewers, so the right people can draft, review and publish.

  • Accessibility settings for visitors

The touchscreen has its own accessibility settings, including larger text and reduced motion.

How it works

From first sign-in to a published hall of fame

  1. Create your account

Sign up with your own work email address and confirm it from your inbox. Colleagues you invite later create their own accounts.

  2. Make it look like your school

Name your site and choose your colors and look. You can change your design anytime.

  3. Tell your first story

Start with one person, team or memory, and add more whenever you like.

  4. Preview privately

See your saved draft on the touchscreen exactly as visitors will, before anyone else can.

  5. Publish when you’re ready

Review what will go live and publish it. Your published site has its own web address.

FAQ

Questions schools ask

What is a digital hall of fame?

A digital hall of fame is an interactive display, usually a touchscreen in a lobby, hallway or gym, where visitors explore inductees, teams, alumni and school history. Unlike a fixed plaque wall, it holds full biographies and photos and keeps growing every year.

Who adds and edits the content?

Your school does. People you add to your site sign in and make changes in the built-in editor; no code is involved. Only people with access to your site, and the platform’s internal support administrators, can edit it.

Is our site public as soon as we start?

No. Your work is saved as a private draft and appears on your published site only after someone with publishing access publishes it. Archived stories stay hidden.

Can several people work on the same site?

Yes. Add teammates by email as owners, publishers, editors or viewers. They get access by signing in with that same email address.

Can we start small?

Yes. Begin with one person, team or school memory. Saved stories and designs are there when you sign in again, so you can keep building.

What does it cost?

HistoryShowcase is free to use. No payment details are required to create an account.
